Whether it's our guests' dogs or one of our own, we take being dog-friendly very seriously. From pampering our four-legged guests with their own bed and amenities or donating a portion of your pet charge to High Peaks Animal Rescue Joshua Fund, making sure our canine guests enjoy the same pawesome hospitality as their owners is a pretty big deal to us.
Meet Denver Dog, High Peaks Resort Mascot, and Chief Morale Officer
When he was two years old, Denver was brought to an animal shelter after being found homeless. Despite his incredibly lovable personality and nearly silent demeanor, Denver was overlooked by potential families and had to be placed on a timeline to be euthanized to make room for the inflow of unwanted animals. Because of his exceptional temperament, an animal rescue stepped in and saved his life. Shortly after his rescue, he found his family and now Denver gets to come to work with mom every day and is surrounded by all the love he could ever hope for.
But what about all the Denvers not fortunate enough to have found a loving forever home? Shouldn't all dogs have the same chance to find a family?
