Jamielynn's Holiday Spirits: Cranberry Orange Old Fashioned

Thanksgiving seems like only yesterday and now 2017 is days away! If you're hosting a party to ring in the new year but you're in need of a featured cocktail, look no further; Jamielynn, chief cocktail connoisseur at Dancing Bear Restaurant has has a spin on an Old Fashioned that will leave your guests saying "Cheers to the Host and to the New Year!"

2 ounce Jim Beam Black
4 Whole Cranberries
1 Fresh Slice of Orange
1 Sugar Cube
Angostura Bitter
Sweet Vermouth
Seltzer Water


  1. In a rocks glass muddle four whole cranberries, one fresh slice of orange and one sugar cube. 5. Top of with a splash of seltzer water.
  2. Add ice to the top of the glass over the muddled mixture.
  3. Add 2 ounces of Jim Beam Black.
  4. Finish cocktail with a few dashes of Angostura bitters and a dash of sweet vermouth.
