High Peaks Holiday Market
Make your list, check it twice, and head to the High Peaks Resort courtyard, where local artisans have your gift-giving covered. For three evenings in December, tented booths fill up with jewelry, pottery, artwork, handmade soaps and lotions, and one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on the nice list (plus a few for yourself, because you’ve been good this year). Sit for the caricaturist while you’re there and take home a hand-drawn portrait made just for you, or for someone special on your list.
The market opens Thursday, then jingles right into Holiday Village Stroll weekend on Friday and Saturday, when the whole village is decked out for the season. Bundle up, cozy up to the heat lamps, and grab a hot drink and a sweet treat from Dancing Bears Restaurant to keep your mittens warm between stops. The market is free and open to everyone, and it’s an easy walk from Main Street, so bring the whole crew and make a night of it.
We have a great list of local artisans so far, but we have space for more! Email us if you're interested in displaying your craft at the High Peaks Holiday Market.
