The Resort

Main Resort is the full service center of High Peaks, 105 rooms rising five stories across from Mirror Lake. The lobby of this Lake Placid hotel leans classic Adirondack: plush leather, buffalo check, a guide boat chandelier overhead, plenty of corners to disappear into with a book. The rooms are its modern counterpart. Raw edge wood, textured fabrics, and a quieter palette that still feels unmistakably of the mountains. Most rooms face the lake, the Adirondack High Peaks, or both.

Choose Main Resort if you're a couple, a family, or a business traveler who wants the restaurant, the pools, the shops, and the fitness center all within a short walk of your door, and a lobby that rewards the way back to your room.

Lake House

Lake House is a 44-room hotel with a mid-century modern ski chalet feel and views of Mirror Lake and the Adirondack Mountains from most rooms.

The heart of the property is the Great Room: oak furniture, bold cushions in red, teal, and blue, red metal stools at the oak bar, and a wall of windows facing Mirror Lake. The Lake House Host pours drinks and handles most of what you'd ask a lobby for. Guests settle in with a book, a board game, or takeout from Main Street.

Choose Lake House if you're traveling with family or you're the kind of guest who'd rather gather in a common space than retreat to the room.

Waterfront Collection

Waterfront Collection sits at the edge of Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. Twenty-eight rooms with the pool, the dock, and the water itself just outside the door.

The 20 standard rooms sit at lake level with glass doors opening onto the waterfront. The 8 suites and junior suites occupy the three-story wing next door, with the largest floor plans and the widest views of Mirror Lake and the Adirondack High Peaks. The seasonal pool and the watercraft, pedal boats, paddleboards, and kayaks, are steps away. In winter, guests swap the pool for skates on Mirror Lake.

Choose Waterfront Collection if the lake is what drew you to Lake Placid, and you want it within arm's reach from the moment you open your door.
