The Lake Placid Summit Classic is the Premier Lacrosse League's flagship tournament, and 2027 marks its 38th year in town. Even if you're not holding a stick, it's a great week to be in Lake Placid. Both sites run a full vendor village with gear, food, and lacrosse brands, and the energy across the fields makes for an easy afternoon of watching high-level play in a beautiful setting. The tournament brings a lot of families to town, so if you're traveling in for it, High Peaks Resort puts you close to the fields and within walking distance of Main Street for everything off the field. Summer dates around the Summit Classic fill up early, so book your stay well ahead.
